How we collect, use, and protect your personal data under the DPDP Act, 2023.
What we collect
When you use the filing wizard we process the details you enter — name, PAN, Aadhaar, contact details, bank details, income and tax figures, and any bank statement you upload. When you request a callback we collect your name and mobile number. With your consent, we also collect analytics data (pages viewed, actions taken) to improve the product.
Why we use it
Filing data is used only to prepare and generate your income-tax return. Callback details are used to contact you about your request. Analytics is used to understand and improve how the site is used.
Your consent
Analytics cookies run only after you accept them in the cookie banner. You can decline, and no analytics will run. Providing filing or callback details is voluntary and, by submitting, you consent to that specific processing.
Storage & security
Data is stored with Google Firebase. Filing and callback records are readable only by authorised FinConOrbit administrators. Uploaded bank statements are, in this version, kept on your own device. Analytics is handled by Google Analytics 4.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, reach out through the Hire a CA page and a team member will assist you.
